Guided Cheese Tasting at Nicasio Valley Cheese Company on Fridays and Saturdays

Matthew Turner is a 132’ wooden brigantine, built in Sausalito, CA, launched in 2017 and sailing the Bay since 2020. Matthew Turner is docked at the US Army Corps of Engineers Bay Model Visitor Center at 2100 Bridgeway in Sausalito, CA. Access to the parking lot and pier is via Marinship Way. Free parking is available in the US Army Corps of Engineer Bay Model Visitor Center lot. There will be an escort to walk you down the pier past the gate.

The Marin History Museum recently opened the Petals & Ice: The Adventures of Louise A. Boyd exhibit celebrating the remarkable life of Louise A. Boyd—a polar explorer, adventurer, and photographer —a polar explorer, adventurer, and photographer extraordinaire. In addition, for a six-month period, neverbefore seen photographs of the interior of Maple Lawn taken by Ansel Adams are also on display. While this exhibit chronicles many aspects of Louise Boyd’s life…it most importantly answers why her achievements and contributions are still relevant many decades later.

HopMonk Novato Concert

Time: 8:00pm

Matthew Turner will be racing for the third time in this exciting annual San Francisco Bay classic boat tradition, the Master Mariner’s Benevolent Association Regatta! Watch the professional crew sail the ship, trimming for speed and tactically navigating the ship to round the marks as quickly as possible. Other classic ships and smaller boats racing in their respective fleets can be seen on the race course. A Sandwich lunch, snacks and non alcoholic beverages are included. The end time may be before or after 3:30 depending on the time it takes to sail the course.


Point Reyes Open Studios Memorial Day Weekend

Our most popular tour to taste the diverse offerings of our region, including stops at a renowned creamery, oyster farm, meadery, organic veggie farm and more! Cost is $225 per person.
