The coronavirus pandemic has changed the shape of our days a lot, and as more and more countries struggle to adjust to the “new normal”, parents also feel the mounting pressure in looking for activities this summer as camps close or cut down enrollment. If you’re having a difficult time keeping your kids engaged, these online activities may just be the thing!

Camp EDMO

Camp EDMO offers 2.5-hour live camp sessions which run for a week which uses their EDMO Method to teach life skills. There are a variety of grade levels to choose from, depending on your child’s current grade level in school. The kids will also have the same staff and campmates throughout the week.

Due to the cancellation of most of their onsite activities, the Novato Parks and Recreation services have launched the #NovatoFUNatHome social media campaign program to ensure kids and kids at heart can stay engaged even during these times. Fun activities include a see 10, do 10 workout challenges, crafts like homemade shrinky dinks, and even virtual chess lessons! Check out their Facebook page and join in the fun!

The structured sessions run for a week with a maximum of 5 students per instructor for a more personalized learning. The classes also include games, challenges, and peer collaboration sessions.
